“As long as I can remember, painting and nature have been the joyful driving forces in my life.”

I was born in Sweden, where my artistic journey started when I was 14 years old. Since then, creativity has been a part of my life - sometimes more, sometimes less, but always there - painting in oil, mixed media and collage on fabric.

For the last 35 years I have been living in Tuscany, Italy. I have participated in personal and collective exhibitions in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, and most recently at OCRA in Montalcino, Tuscany.

15 years ago I came into contact with Vedic Art in Sweden. Since then I have taught courses and workshops based on Vedic Art and my own experiences.

Nature is another very important part of my life - in 2015 Way of Nature came into my life, and since then I have organised retreats with Way of Nature in Italy.

Sono nato in Svezia, dove il mio percorso artistico è iniziato quando avevo 14 anni. Da allora, la creatività è stata una parte della mia vita - a volte più, a volte meno, ma sempre presente - pittura a olio, tecnica mista e collage su tessuto.

Negli ultimi 35 anni ho vissuto in Toscana, Italia. Ho partecipato a mostre personali e collettive in Svezia, Germania, Svizzera e Italia, e più recentemente all'OCRA di Montalcino, in Toscana.

15 anni fa sono entrato in contatto con l'arte vedica in Svezia. Da allora ho tenuto corsi e workshop basati sull'Arte Vedica e sulle mie esperienze.

La natura è un'altra parte molto importante della mia vita: nel 2015 Way of Nature è entrata nella mia vita e da allora ho organizzato ritiri con Way of Nature in Italia.

Riccardo Marchini is a self-taught artist. He began his first steps in the world of graffiti, then dedicated himself to graphic design of logos and brands. He has always attended artisan workshops to learn to work with wood and metal. His creations were born in his garage in the village of Montegiovi on Monte Amiata. From here came the need to create ExArnia, reusing old bee hives and transforming them into objects of design and original furnishings. The creativity of the artist flies between painting, restorations, objects in metal and a passion for art. The first works of ExArnia were noted and mentioned in newspapers and exhibited in Brussels at Espace Art Gallery. His style stands out for being clean, accurate, colored in all of his details and without sacrificing elaborate choices in the presented perspectives. His latest publication was in the magazine Art Now. He currently collaborates with artists in the international collective www.cultivateprojects.net.

Riccardo MarChini è un artista autodidatta. Inizia a muovere i suoi primi passi nel mondo di graffiti, per poi dedicarsi come grafico alla realizzazione di loghi e brand. Ha sempre frequentato laboratori artigiani dove impara a lavorare il legno ed il metallo. Le creazioni nascono nel suo Garage nel borgo di Montegiovi (GR) sul Monte Amiata. Da qui nasce l’esigenza di creare ExArnia, riusando vecchie arnie per trasformare in oggetti di design ed originali proposte di arredo. La creatività dell’artista vola tra dipinti, restauri, oggetti in metallo e la passione per l’arte. Le prime opere di ExArnia sono state notate e menzione su testate giornalistiche e ha esposto a Bruxelles presso ‘Espace Art Gallery’. Il suo stile si distingue per essere pulito, accurato, colorato in tutti i suoi dettagli, senza rinunciare a scelte elaborate nelle prospettive presentate. La sua ultima pubblicazione è sulla rivista ‘Art-Now’. Attualmente collabora con artisti del collettivo internazionale www.cultivateprojects.net.
